Cherry switches are (mostly) perfectly fine, and people have attested to their durability and feel for decades. If you already know what kind of keyfeel you want, go for whatever switch catches your fancy. Cherry are the gateway switches to the hobby. They aren't bad per se but you can get so much better for cheaper.
