FTW is now widely used as an interjection to express an emotion, such as enthusiasm. It has a meaning similar to "Great!" or "Let's go!". In gaming, FTW is often used at the end of a comment, after a player has achieved some sort of success (e.g., has killed or wounded an opponent, or completed a task).
