Using the Desktop to Open the
On-
Screen Keyboard Once you are
on the desktop of your
Raspberry Pi, click the icon in the top-left hand corner of the
screen. This icon
will bring up the start menu
for the operating system. Within this new menu, click \u201c
Keyboard\u201d (2.) to launch the software.

On Raspberry Pi OS, a package is available in the default repository to enable a virtual keyboard on your screen. After the installation (with the package manager or apt command), the keyboard is available in the Accessories menu.
