(The Chromium OS and its kernel is open-sources) Actually the Brunch install script (chromeos-install.sh) is only used to patch the official Chrome OS recovery image with the Brunch kernel. So the project is legal :) Apple would like to have a word with you. According to them you dont actually own your device.
