This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tape & Reel (TR) package for optimized performance. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 3 terminations were made. As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the TO-243AA package. DC DC switching regulator is configured with 1 outputs. Adjusting voltage regulator's output pins generate Fixed output. This switching regulator is designed to fit the Surface Mount mounting system. In order for it to operate properly, dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature should be at -40°C~85°C TA. DC-DC switching regulators reach 50kHz switching frequencies. Despite its low input voltage, this voltage regulator can operate. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 5V. As a result of the 300mA Switch output current, voltage regulator offers maximum flexibility in design. There is a maximum input voltage of 10V for this voltage regulator 12v. This voltage regulator's peak reflow temperature is so high as to make it virtually indestructible. An input voltage of 3.3V is required for switching regulator operation. A voltage of 5V volts can be produced by voltage regulator. This switching regulator is more efficient and stable due to the ALSO HAS CONTROL TECHNIQUE OF PFM feature.
