PDB-C201 Overview


Photodiodes are enclosed in Bulk to prevent damage. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into TO-205AA, TO-5-3 Metal Can packages in order to protect them from damage. Continually operating in reverse-bias mode, a photodiode's maximum voltage is 100V. Continuous reverse-bias should not exceed 100V for the photodiodes. Photodiodes should be operated with a breakdown voltage of 75V. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 500pA even without light input.
