In order to package the IC voltage regulator, a SOT-23 case is used. On the Voltage regulator IC, there are 5 terminations that can be connected. At present, it can produce an output of up to 300mA. A dropout voltage of 10 volts is what makes it a dropout voltage. Depending on the chip, 5 pins may be available.
