As a safety precaution, the current sensors are packaged in 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) packages. In order to protect the devices from damage, these current sensors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). If the current supplied by the current sensor is greater than 14mA, then the sensor should be faulty. A 8 termination is present on the current sensors. Currently, there are 8 pins on this current sensor. While working, these sensors can supply a voltage of 5V. A current sensor should supply a voltage of 4.5V.
