ACS772LCB-100U-PFF-T developed by Allegro MicroSystems is a type of current sensor IC able to deliver economical and precise solutions for AC or DC current sensing. It is well suited for motor control, load detection and management, power supply and DC-to-DC converter control, and inverter control. Overcurrent fault detection in safety-critical applications can be achieved based on the 2.5 µs response time. The close proximity of the magnetic signal to the Hall transducer allows for optimized device accuracy.
