In order to protect the op amps, a 14-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) case is used. Op amps are J-FET types of amplifier on the chip. It comes in a Tube case, which protects instrumentation amplifier from damage during delivery. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 14.
