LT1186FIS#TR Description
LT1186FIS#TR is a type of low noise VLDOTM (very low dropout) linear regulator specifically optimized for low power/portable applications. The device is allowed to draw only 35μA during normal operation, independent of the dropout voltage and load current based on the internal P-channel MOSFET pass transistor requiring no base current. Moreover, it is able to deliver high output voltage accuracy, excellent transient response, stability with ultralow ESR ceramic capacitors. A suite of protection features is provided, including reverse-battery and reverse-current protection, short-circuit and thermal overload protection and output current limiting.
