LT1587CM-1.5 Description

LT1587CM-1.5 developed by Analog Devices is a type of low dropout 3-terminal regulator with a fixed 1.5V output voltage and 3A output current capability. It is specifically optimized for low-voltage applications essentially requiring transient response and minimum input voltage. It delivers lower dropout and faster transient response, which is similar to the LT1085. These features make it well suited for low-voltage microprocessor applications. Specified output current and controlled short-circuit current can be ensured by trimming the current limit.
