LT1764AEQ-2.5 Description
A low dropout regulator with quick transient response is the LT ? 1764A. The device has a 340mV dropout voltage and can deliver 3A of output current. Operating quiescent current is 1mA, while shutdown quiescent current is 1A. Quiescent current is well controlled; unlike many other regulators, it does not increase during dropout. Fast rapid responsiveness and extremely low output voltage noise make the LT1764A the perfect choice for delicate RF supply applications.
The range of the output voltage is 1.21V to 20V. With output capacitors as low as 10 F, the LT1764A regulators are stable. Reverse battery protection, current limiting, heat limiting, and reverse current protection are all included in the internal protection circuitry. The device is offered as an adjustable device with a 1.21V reference voltage as well as fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. The LT1764A regulators come in 5-lead TO-220 and DD packages, 16-lead FE packages, and DD and TO-220 packages.
