The TPSB474M035R4000 is a 0.47 µF Molded Tantalum Capacitor 35 V 1411 (3528 Metric), 1210 4Ohm. An electrolytic capacitor, a passive element of electrical circuits, is a tantalum electrolytic capacitor. It consists of a cathode made of the liquid or solid electrolyte and an anode made of a porous tantalum metal pellet covered in an insulating oxide layer that serves as the dielectric. The tantalum capacitor stands out from other conventional and electrolytic capacitors by having a high capacitance per volume (high volumetric efficiency), a low weight, and a comparatively thin and high permittivity dielectric layer.
