CY25701FLXIT Description
The CY25701FLXIT is a Spread Spectrum Crystal Oscillator (SSXO) IC used to reduce the EMI in today’s high-speed digital electronic systems. The CY25701FLXIT uses a Cypress proprietary PLL and Spread Spectrum Clock (SSC) technology to synthesize and modulate the frequency of the embedded input crystal. The measured EMI at the fundamental and harmonic frequencies are significantly reduced by frequency modulating the clock. This reduction in radiated energy significantly reduces the cost of complying with regulatory agency (EMC) requirements and improves time-to-market without degrading system performance.
