CY8C3866AXI-040 Product Details
CY8C3866AXI-040 Description
A 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 Processor is built inside the Cypress Semiconductor Corp. CY8C3866AXI-040 Programmable System-on-Chip (PSoC) microcontroller. In a small package, it combines computing power, analog and digital capability, touch sensing, and secure connectivity. The device has extensive analog capabilities with adjustable gain amplifiers and high accuracy comparators, support for external memory, 128KB of flash memory, and digital peripherals like USB, SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN. Moreover, 32 electrodes may detect proximity, movement, and/or touch without the need for any extra components thanks to the integrated CapSense capacitive-touch controller. In order to increase battery life, the microcontroller offers adaptable interfaces and a low-power mode with dynamic scaling. It offers sufficient defense against cyber threats thanks to security features like hardware AES encryption and safe boot. The CY8C3866AXI-040 is appropriate for a variety of industrial, medical, consumer electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), and automotive applications that demand high performance, secure processing, and reliable touch sensing.
