It uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. There are 8 terminations in this harley voltage regulator. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. This harley voltage regulator is available in the 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) Exposed Pad package for the purpose of space saving. 1 outputs of voltage regulator are configured. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable outputs on their output pins to handle the power management.
