IR3536AMTRPBF Description


Dual-loop digital multi-phase buck controllers, the IR3536A and IR3538A. The IR3536A and IR3538A drive up to 6 and 8 phases, respectively. The IR3536A and IR3538A have a Vtt tracking capability for DDR memory and are completely Intel? VR12 and AMD? SVI/PVI compliant on both loops. In order to achieve great efficiency at the lowest possible cost across the whole load range, the IR3536A and IR3538A both contain IR Efficiency Shaping Technology. The MOSFET gate drive voltage is optimized using IRVariable Gate Drive based on the current load in real-time. According to the load current, IRDynamic Phase Control adds or drops phases. The 1-phase operation and active diode emulation modes of the IR3536A and IR3538A can be programmed to be entered automatically or by command.
