The CDIP package is neat. We use all 2 elements. The ethernet transceiver has 20 terminations with different functions. There is a voltage requirement of 5V. This logical driver can be used in Through Hole different applications. 2 ports are included in this logic device. Each element uses 4 bits. Bus Driver/Transceivers is a specific type of buffer.
