It uses the Tube package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 8 terminations were made. The type of analog IC that this voltage regulator is equipped with is SWITCHING REGULATOR. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Surface Mount bracket.
