LTC2954IDDB-2#TRMPBF Description
A pushbutton on/off controller called the LTC®2954 controls system power through a pushbutton interface. An interrupt output offers debounced pushbutton status, whereas an enable output toggles the system power. In applications with a menu structure, the interrupt output can be used to request a system shutdown. A system or microprocessor can reset the enable output by using a power kill input, thereby shutting down the system. Independently programmable on/off timers provide dependable pushbutton control of the enable output and protection against unintentional system power switching.
