It uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 6 terminations were made. As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR. In order to save space, this voltage regulator is packaged in the 6-WFDFN Exposed Pad package. The voltage regulator is configured with 1 outputs. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. This voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting. In order for it to operate properly, dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature should be at -40°C~85°C TA. DC DC switching regulator's maximum design flexibility comes from its output current of 500mA Switch. 5V volts is DC DC switching regulator's maximum input voltage.
