The Strip protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in 6-LCC packages. The maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 200V. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 200V should be maintained for the photodiodes. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 50μA current.
