This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tape & Reel (TR) package for optimized performance. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 12 terminations were made. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. There is a 12-WQFN Exposed Pad package available for this voltage regulator, as DC DC switching regulator is space-saving. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. The adjusting voltage regulator generates Fixed output. A Surface Mount mounting is required for this switching regulator. When operating, adjusting voltage regulator's operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~85°C TA. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 2MHz.
