It uses the Tube package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. In this voltage regulator, there are 16 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type IC. In order to save space, this voltage regulator is packaged in the 16-SSOP (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package. DC DC switching regulator is configured with 2 outputs. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable (Programmable) outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. The voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting hole.
