The space-saving 19-VFBGA, WLCSP package is available for this voltage regulator. A voltage regulator 12v such as this one fits the Surface Mount mounting bracket. As a result of its peak reflow temperature, this voltage regulator is virtually indestructible. There is a DC/DC regulator in this family that belongs to the MAX38800 family.
