MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE Description
The MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE offers the most flexibility in the smallest compact assembly available in the Triaxis range. With programmable duty cycles in the range of 0.1% to 100%, the MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE is also intended for micropower applications, allowing for customizable power consumption in accordance with system requirements.
To fine-tune the performance and power used, the MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE magnetic field sensor can be reprogrammed to operate in various modes and with various settings. The sensor provides a 16-bit temperature output signal in addition to a 16-bit output signal proportional to the magnetic flux density measured along the X, Y, and Z axes utilizing Melexis' own Triaxis technology. The MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE, which is a slave on the bus, provides access to these digital values through I2C and SPI. By hardwiring connections to A0 and A1 (4x) and ordering codes with various SW addresses, many sensors can be connected to the same bus (4x).
Input for additional postprocessing, such as for joystick applications, rotary knob applications, and more intricate 3D position sensing applications, can be made from the raw data by choosing which axes are to be measured. This sensor, which primarily targets industrial and consumer applications, achieves unmatched performance.
