MCP2221A-I/ST Description
A USB-to-UART serial converter called the MCP2221A makes it possible for devices with UART and/or I2C interfaces to communicate with USB devices. By incorporating the oscillator and USB termination resistors required for USB functioning, the device lowers the amount of external components. Four GP pins on the MCP2221A are available for various functions (including GPIO, USBCFG, SSPND, Clock Output, ADC, DAC and interrupt detector).
