This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tape & Reel (TR) package for optimized performance. As you can see, this harley voltage regulator contains 8 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. On its output pins, this adjusting voltage regulator generates Adjustable output. A voltage regulator 12v such as this one fits the Surface Mount mounting bracket. -40°C~85°C TA should be the operating temperature when voltage regulator is operating. A DC-DC switching regulator of this type operates at a switching frequency of 340kHz. The voltage regulator can be operated with a voltage as low as 4.5V as an input voltage.
