For optimal performance, this voltage regulator makes use of the Tape & Reel (TR) package. A voltage regulator consists of 8 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type IC. In order to save space, this voltage regulator is packaged in the 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) Exposed Pad package. The voltage regulator 12v has 1 outputs. Adjusting voltage regulator's output pins generate Adjustable output. The voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting hole. The operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~85°C TA when the voltage regulator 12v is in operation. A DC-DC switching regulator of this type operates at a switching frequency of 1.3MHz. A dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 3V is required for this voltage regulator to operate. According to the table below, DC DC switching regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 0.8V. As a result of the 260 peak reflow temperature, this regulator is essentially indestructible. To meet the switching regulator operation requirements, a nominal input voltage of 12V is provided. There is a subcategory of this regulator voltage called Switching Regulator or Controllers. Voltage of voltage regulator can be delivered at 14.4V volts. 8 pins are used for switching regulator operation. In order to use this voltage regulator 12v at its full potential, the output voltage should be kept at at least 800mV.
