MC36212 Overview


PTC thermistors are packaged as SMD/SMT units to prevent damage. A safety package is used to safeguard these PTC thermistors. It is recommended to set the minimum operating temperature of the PTC thermistors at -40°C. Ensure this thermistor is working at 85°C by keeping its operating temperature below that. As a result, PTC thermistors may supply 16V voltage at all times. A thermistor in this range is nominally capable of supplying 16V voltage. As for the DC circuit, these thermistors are rated for 16V. A PTC thermistor should not have a current higher than 40A. If the thermistor is to provide reliable performance, the voltage should be 16V. As long as the DC circuit uses a thermistor, the voltage supplied by the thermistor should not exceed 16V. This thermistor has been rated at 16V in the DC circuit.
