Into SMD/SMT packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Cut Tape. Setting the minimum operating temperature of PTC thermistors to -40°C is recommended. If this thermistor is to work correctly, it must operate at 85°C. While operating, the PTC thermistors could output 8V voltage. This thermistor can supply 8V nominally when in operation. A DC circuit uses 8V to rate these thermistors. PTC thermistors should produce 800mW heat. PTC thermistors should not have a higher current than 100A. For reliable performance, this thermistor should supply 0 volts. This thermistor should not provide voltages higher than 8V in a DC circuit. For DC circuits, these thermistors can handle voltages up to 8V.
