NTC thermistors are packaged as a Tape & Reel (TR). The 0402 (1005 Metric) package contains it for your convenience. In order for NTC thermistors to operate, the resistance tolerance must be ±5%. When using NTC thermistors, the temperature should be set to -40°C~125°C to ensure reliable operation. To make an NTC thermistor work properly, it needs to have the 2 pins connected. Temperature sensors are capable of dissipating a maximum of 100mW of power. If the thermistors are operated at 460μA, the fuse element will not deteriorate too much.
