LPC1837JBD144E is a type of ARM Cortex-M3-based microcontrollers manufactured by NXP Semiconductors / Freescale for embedded applications. Compared with previous generation cores, it provides lower power consumption, better debug features and a higher level of support block integration. The ARM Cortex-M3 CPU operates with a Harvard architecture with separate local instruction and data buses as well as a third bus for peripherals. Based on an internal prefetch unit, it is able to support speculative branching.
