MC68331CEH16 is a kind of 32-bit modular microcontroller developed by NXP Semiconductors / Freescale. It is integrated with high-performance data manipulation capabilities and powerful peripheral subsystems. It is designed based on standard modules that interface through a common intermodule bus (IMB). It operates with a reference frequency of 32.768-kHz and a maximum system clock speed of 20.97 MHz. The clock rate can be changed because of fully static MCU operation, as well as register and memory contents being unaffected by clock rate changes. MC68331CEH16 microcontroller is able to deliver low power consumption based on high-density complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (HCMOS) architecture.
