The MC68HC11E0CFNE2 is an 8-bit Microcontroller (MCU). The 8-bit microcontroller M68HC11 E series is described in detail (MCUs). These MCUs all incorporate the high-performance, on-chip peripherals of the M68HC11 central processing unit (CPU).

The E series includes numerous devices with different configurations of:

? Random-access memory (RAM)

? Read-only memory (ROM)

? Erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM)

? Electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM)

? Several low-voltage devices are also available.

All E-series MCUs operate in the same way, with a few minor exceptions. The E-series devices operate at frequencies from 3 MHz to dc with extremely low power consumption thanks to a totally static design and a high-density complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (HCMOS) production technique.
