MC68HC16Z1CPV25 Description
The MC68HC16Z1CPV25 is a 16-bit high-speed Microcontroller Control Unit built from standard modules that interface via a common internal bus. The quick creation of devices designed for certain uses is made possible by standardization. Changes in clock rate are possible during operation thanks to system hardware and software.
Changes in clock rate have no impact on the register and memory contents of MCUs because they are completely static devices. A standardized bus called the inter-module bus (IMB) was created to make it easier to design modular microcontrollers. Circuitry that allows exception processing, address space partitioning, various interrupt levels, and vectored interrupts is part of the MC68HC16Z1CPV25. In M68HC16 Z-series MCUs, the IMB serves as the primary means of communication between the standard modules. The M68HC16 Z-series MCUs only utilize 20 address lines, even though the entire IMB provides 24 addresses and 16 data lines.
