MC9S08DZ32AMLF Description


The MC9S08DZ32AMLF is an 8-bit embedded CAN microcontroller that runs at a maximum frequency of 40MHz and is based on an improved HCS08 CPU (20MHz bus). The chip includes 40 general-purpose I/O pins, a 16-channel 12-bit A/D converter, a can, an analog comparator, internal flash memory of 60 kB, and an internal RAM of 4 kB. Additionally, this device includes peripherals like a real-time counter, an inter-integrated circuit (IIC) bus module that can operate at up to 100 kbps, a multi-scalable controller area networks (MSCAN) CAN 2.0 A/B software compatible module, one serial peripheral interface module (SPI), and two serial communications interface (SCI) modules (RTC).

  • Oscillator (XOSC) — Loop-control Pierce oscillator; Crystal or ceramic resonator range of 31.25 kHz to 38.4 kHz or 1 MHz to 16 MHz
