The Kinetis MKE02Z64VFM4 sub-family, which is pin compatible with both the Our 8-bit S08P family and the Kinetis E series, is the entry point into the portfolio of the Kinetis E series. This sub-family consists of a strong assortment of peripherals for analog, communication, timing, and control, each with a unique pin count and flash memory size. The family serves as a low-power, highly reliable, and reasonably priced microcontroller to give programmers a suitable entry-level 32-bit solution. The series is a next-generation MCU solution with improved ESD/EMC performance for applications requiring highly reliable, cost-conscious devices that are used in situations with high electrical noise levels.
