S9S12G192F0VLH Description
The S9S12G192F0VLH is a 16-bit MCU, S12 core, 192KB Flash, 25MHz, -40/+105degC, Automotive Qualified, QFP 64. The MC9S12G-Family is a 16-bit automotive microcontroller product line developed for a cheap cost, excellent performance, and few pins. High-end 8-bit microcontrollers and high-performance 16-bit microcontrollers, like the MC9S12XS-Family, are designed to be bridged by this family. Target markets for the MC9S12G-Family include general automotive applications that demand CAN or LIN/J2602 connectivity. Body controllers, occupant detection, door modules, seat controllers, RKE receivers, intelligent actuators, lighting modules, and smart junction boxes are typical examples of these applications.
Many of the features present on the MC9S12XS- and MC9S12P-Families, such as error correction code (ECC) on flash memory, a quick analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a frequency modulated phase locked loop (IPLL) that boosts EMC performance, are also used by the MC9S12G-Family.
The MC9S12G-Family is designed to work with programs with memory sizes as small as 16k. It has an EEPROM with a modest 4 bytes erase sector size to make consumer use easier.
The MC9S12G-Family maintains the low cost, power consumption, EMC, and code-size efficiency benefits now enjoyed by users of NXP's existing 8-bit and 16-bit MCU families while delivering all the help and efficiencies of a 16-bit MCU. The MC9S12G-Family operates 16-bit wide accesses without wait states for all peripherals and memories, similar to the MC9S12XS-Family. The MC9S12G-Family strives to maximize functionality, especially for the lower pin count packages, and is offered in 100-pin LQFP, 64-pin LQFP, 48-pin LQFP/QFN, 32-pin LQFP, and 20-pin TSSOP package variants. Additional I/O ports are provided with interrupt capabilities in addition to the I/O ports found in each module, allowing wake-up from wait or stop states.
