A proximity sensor cannot operate at a temperature higher than 85°C. If the rate is 400Hz, then the proximity sensors will function. Reed switches work well with proximity sensors when their internal contacts pass 200mA current. DC circuits can be operated with a voltage of 55V without damaging the proximity sensors. In a DC circuit, proximity sensors should not be operating at a current below 10V, otherwise they will be dangerous.
