The MC78LC30HT1 voltage regulators are created especially for use as a power supply for battery-operated devices, handheld communication devices, and video instruments. The MC78LC30HT1 has a high precision output voltage and an extremely low quiescent current of 1.1 A. Each component has a driver transistor, an error amplifier, a voltage reference, and resistors to control the output voltage. These components are offered in surface mount SOT-89, 3 pin, and SOT-23, 5 pin, packages.
