NCV887301D1R2G developed by ON Semiconductor is a type of adjustable output non−synchronous boost controller driving an external N−channel MOSFET. Internal slope compensation enables it to use peak current mode control. It is characterized by low quiescent current sleep mode and externally−synchronizable switching frequency. Moreover, it is able to provide a suite of protection functions when operating, including internally−set soft−start, under-voltage lockout, cycle−by−cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown.
