RPX-2.5-CT Description

The RPX-2.5-CT is a tiny 4.5mm x 4mm x 2mm thermally enhanced QFN package that houses a buck converter with an integrated inductor (the smallest in its class). It is possible to use 5V, 12V, or 24V supply voltages with the input range of 4.5 to 28VDC. With the help of two resistors, the output voltage may be adjusted to be between 1.2 and 6 volts. Up to 2.5A of output current is available, and it is completely protected from output overcurrent, output overcurrent faults, and over-temperature faults. The enable pin has an inbuilt pull-up current source, thus it can be used with inputs from a logic gate, an open drain, an open collector, or switched inputs (leave it open if not in use).
