RT8298EZSP Overview
It uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. Due to DC DC switching regulator's space saving design, this voltage regulator is available in a 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) Exposed Pad package. The voltage regulator 12v has 1 outputs. As you can see, this DC DC switching regulator generates Adjustable output on its output pins. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Surface Mount bracket. In order for it to operate properly, dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature should be at -40°C~85°C TA. This DC-DC switching regulator has a switching frequency of 600kHz. Despite its low input voltage, this voltage regulator can operate. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 0.8V. Featuring a maximum design flexibility of 6A, dc to dc voltage regulator has a maximum output current of 6A. Voltage regulators' input voltage is limited to 24V. There is a possibility that DC DC switching regulator can give voltage at 15V volts. In order to operate voltage regulator, 8 pins are required. In order to use this voltage regulator 12v at its full potential, the output voltage should be kept at at least 800mV. The maximal output voltage of 15V allows adjusting voltage regulator for simple operation. It provides the adjusting voltage regulator's maximal output voltage of 15V.
