RP500K281A-TR Overview
For optimal performance, this voltage regulator uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 6 terminations were made. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. For space-saving purposes, this voltage regulator is available in the 6-UFDFN Exposed Pad package. The voltage regulator is configured with 1 outputs. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Fixed outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. When operating, adjusting voltage regulator's operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~85°C TA. This DC-DC switching regulator has a switching frequency of 1.2MHz. The voltage regulator can be operated with a voltage as low as 2.55V as an input voltage. It is evident from the table below that adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 2.8V. Featuring a 900mA output current, dc to dc voltage regulator offers maximum design flexibility. Voltage regulator's input voltage can reach 5.5V. Its NOT SPECIFIED peak reflow temperature makes this regulator essentially indestructible. To meet the switching regulator operation requirements, a nominal input voltage of 3.6V is provided. Voltage can be produced at 2.8V volts by voltage regulator. A type of DC-DC switching regulator, belonging to the RP500x family of voltage regulators, is what we are describing here.
