NCV3163PWG Overview


A Tube package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 16-SOIC (0.295, 7.50mm Width) Exposed Pad package. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. Adjusting voltage regulator's output pins generate Adjustable output. This voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting. As long as its operating temperature is -40°C~125°C TA, dc to dc voltage regulator should perform well. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 50kHz~300kHz. The regulator is capable of operating with a dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 2.5V. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 1.25V. DC DC switching regulator's maximum design flexibility comes from its output current of 3.4A Switch. The maximum input voltage of voltage regulator is 40V. Based on the maximal adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage of 40V Switch, adjusting voltage regulator can be operated easily.
