In this device, the DC current gain is 180 @ 100mA 5V, which is calculated by taking the ratio of the base current to collector current and dividing transistor by two.When VCE saturation is 2V @ 100mA, 1A, transistor means Ic has reached transistors maximum value (saturated).In order to achieve high efficiency, the continuous collector voltage should be kept at 1.5A.An emitter's base voltage can be kept at 5V to gain high efficiency.Current rating refers to the maximum current a fuse can carry for an indefinite period without deteriorating substantially, and this device has a 1.5A current rating.The part has a transition frequency of 80MHz.In extreme cases, the collector current can be as low as 1.5A volts.
