L293DD Description


L293DD belongs to the family of push-pull four-channel drivers with high voltage and high current, which are designed by STMicroelectronics to accept standard DTL or TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads (such as relays solenoids, DC, and stepping motors) and switching power transistors. Due to its specific characteristics, the L293DD driver is well suited for switching applications at frequencies up to 5 kHz.
