L4960 Voltage Regulator Description
The L4960 is a monolithic power switching regulator generating 2.5A at a voltage changeable from 5V to 40V in the step-down arrangement. The device has features such as current limitation, gentle start, thermal protection, and a 0 to 100 percent duty cycle for continuous operation.
The L4960 is housed in a Heptawatt plastic power box with few exterior components.
Because of the efficient functioning at switching frequencies up to 150KHz, the size and cost of external filter components can be reduced.
